It might help her land some role in a movie, because everyone is talking about her lagging career, which might be the source of the depression she is suffering from. It does not seem that she had anything spectacular going for her after "Suddenly Susan" TV sitcom, which demonstrated that she is a highly talented actress. Sometimes it is difficult to say what is behind getting all these lucrative movie deals, because being young really helps, but those who are aging also should have great roles to play. If there is something interesting, Cruise’s own production company will have to come up with movies, and this good relation that’s starting might bring some windfall her way.
