Windows Vista

This is an interesting news piece for anyone planning to upgrade or to buy Vista. Microsoft seems to slate the price for the software that will be released on January, while close to five million consumers are said to be testing the beta version, Release Candidate 1. It doesn’t mean this is the final date for the release as there had been five delays. The spokesperson for the software publisher has stated that there could be more delays if problems develop.

The price is $100 - $299 for customers upgrading from older version, while for first-time buyers it could cost from $199 - $399. The Home Premium edition will go for a cool $159 if it is an upgrade that is said to be a good bargain for those who are in the middle of the Basic bare bone edition and the Ultimate version that is more business-oriented.
