The Worry of Cell Phone Only Users

Their number is on the rise and it is surpassing a quarter of the youth. What this means is the number of phone users that do not have a landline telephones but get a full phone service is becoming significant. The statistics shows the adult figure alone has grown from 2 percent to 12 percent recently. The other revealing figure is 15 percent of Hispanic adults use cell phones while they are flanked by 13 percent of black adults, 12 percent of Asians, and 11 percent of whites. The figure goes further revealing 22 percent of low income earning adults are using cell phones only, which is going to be double of those who are not low income earners. Another figure worth noting is 13 percent of male and 12 percent of female phone users have cell phones only, while 2 percent of adults have no phones. The reason why such a pattern is alarming is, whenever survey is made it is only those who have landline phones that are contacted and this could mean leaving out a good chunk of the population.
