Another Top Gambling Official Arrested

Peter Dicks of Sportingbets Plc was arrested at JFK airport with an arrest warrant that originated from Louisiana making him the second gambling top official to be arrested. The arrest has shaved up to $1.5 billion from the market value of the $12 billion gambling industry. Since the arrest of David Carruthers of Betonsport in Texas in July most of the gambling houses are in the process of either reducing the percentage of their intake from the U.S. citizens or they are closing some of their U.S. operations until the anti-gambling bill that was introduced by Rep. Bob Goodlatte is decided upon, which had already faced a lot of opposition.
Good or bad, the public should have its say, because in the near future, the handy online gambling could be out of the reach of Americans that used to access it easily, but those determined ones could get around of any legal barrier the government might put in place. But the companies will find it difficult to operate from the U.S. and most of them do not anyway.
