A Little Bit of a Twist in the U.S. Life Expectancy

It is not going to be between the known races, this time researchers have created eight groups, that include Asians, northern low income rural whites, middle class Americans, low income Americans in the South, the Appalachia and Mississippi area, Native Americans, middle class blacks, blacks in the south, and blacks in the high risk urban areas. The whole issue comes down to access to healthcare as many of the reasons causing death are disease related like heart disease or diabetes that are treatable in most cases and some of them are preventable. Yet the causes could be life style related or work related where people die because of accidents. The gap between what they called the best-off and worse-off is close to 16 years. The conclusion is more than race what determines the life expectancy of Americans is access to health care, life style, and what people do for a living, whether it is risk oriented or not.
