A Small Metal in the Shoes

The new security system that is installed at Orlando airport is said to be a bit advanced than the others, because it is at least possible to keep the shoes on as long as they do not have any metal in them while going through the security checkup in a kiosk. The reason for that is the system that sends radio wave to check the biometrics information of passengers that have to pay $100 a year in order to register in the program cannot distinguish different kinds of metals yet. Enrolling in the program will enable participating passenger to avoid the lineup at the main security checkup that they do not have to go through. It is believed that the new system that commenced in 2005 will start to be used in many airports soon.
