A Small Guy versus a Big Guy Thing

There is no easy comparison between Microsoft and Apple except that Apple is responsible for personal computers that could be reasonably performing well, and it is not only that, Apple manufactures its own computers, whereas Microsoft is only supplying the world with a highly sophisticated operating system that is used close to 90% by computers users around the world, so it is difficult to compare the two. Because if manufacturers had not seen the advantage of whatever Microsoft is coming up with in a regular interval they are not under any obligation that they have to use it. Which means if whatever OS Apple comes up with is better, capitalism is at work in most places where who will get the lion’s share of the business should have been the Apple OS, but it is not. What is funny is there are geeks out there calling themselves Apple loyalists and they are a bit vociferous even if it is good because lions also need to be kept on their toes so that they will not fall asleep and their enemies could overtake them if there are any out there worse than Apple. What this means is the noise the apple geeks are making is even irking for Bill Gate to the point where it might make him uncomfortable to be compared with Apple or even to Steve Jobs, not because he is a bad guy, but achievement wise he might have some distance to cover. Conclusion, there is no proof Apple is stealing Microsoft’s market share and to make things worse, the company came up with Vista which might not compared with any OS on the planet, even if the smart Apple could have stolen some features and had run around with it.
